TARANGIRE, LAKE MANYARA AND NGORONGORO CRATER NATIONAL PARKS SAFARI
This three days safari that takes you from the Savannah plains of Tarangire and the immense elephant herds scratching the dry river bed for underground streams while migratory Wildebeest, Zebra, Buffalo, Impala, Gazelle, Hartebeest and Eland crowd the shrinking lagoons to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park with the famous spectacle tree climbing lions which occasionally seen along branches of acacia trees. Finally this safari package dives you to the base of Ngorongoro Crater that offering you a classic Big Five safari experience in the unique setting of an ancient Volcanic Caldera and a home of some 30,000 animals.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
After breakfast we will depart from hotel to Tarangire National Park early in the morning which takes 3 hours. Once we arrive in Tarangire national park, we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are huge herds of wildebeest, Zebra, Elands, Cheetah, Impalas, Ostriches, Warthogs, Giraffe, Mongoose and Buffalo. At lunch time you will stop at a nice picnic site and enjoy an amazing lunch and viewing wildlife and then you will proceed with a game drive. After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire we will continue our journey to our next highlight the Ngorongoro Crater National Park and close to Lake Manyara for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive
After breakfast we will depart from hotel to Lake Manyara National Park which take 2 hours but we will pass through the market town of Mto wa Mbu along the way. The agricultural and fresh produce market is a melting pot of local cultures and a souvenir hunter’s paradise. After a brief stop at the village market you will enter Lake Manyara National Park and begin games. The park is truly a photographer’s playground and offer some of the best game viewing in the world. You will expect to see a large number of pink flamingos and hippos and in the park plenty of elephants, wildebeests, giraffe, tree climbing lions also its large number of zebra, impalas, warthogs and waterbucks. The bird watchers will find at Lake Manyara is an absolute delight with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Lake Manyara National Park has a large number of birds. At lunch time you will stop at a nice picnic site and enjoy an amazing lunch and then you will proceed with a game drive. At evening you will start leaving in the national park to hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater National Park Game Drive
After breakfast we will depart from hotel to Ngorongoro Crater National Park which take 1 hours. After arrive at Park you will begin a game that Ngorongoro Crater is home of 120 species of mammal including the Fabled Big Five and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good place to see the endangered Black Rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open top vehicle you will be able to observe and photograph some of Africa’s most recognizable faces. The crater is home of a large number of predators including lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Jackals and hyenas as well as a large population of wildebeest, Zebras, Antelope, Cape Buffalo and more. It’s truly one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. After the amazing and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool and then you will continue with game until evening. Around 16:00 hrs, you will drive back to Arusha town.
